Orion

The Orion from 4Access is an all-in-one, inclusive POS terminal that easily processes credit, debit, checking, and soon gift card transactions. Orion operates by using cutting-edge technology to support several applications simultaneously, yet independently. Equipped with a Linux operating system, Orion is as powerful as a PC, making it the most comprehensive, stand-alone POS terminal on the market today. Orion is also integrated with both MICR and OCR check recognition, which provides the most accurate check reads possible. Checks are read, the image is captured , and then sent for processing through a secure Internet connection in less than one second (also operates through dial-up). Additionally, Orion also features a fast thermal printer, high resolution touch-screen display, Ethernet, magnetic card reader, real-time image quality monitoring, and an optional programmable ink jet printer. Orion's array of features allows you the freedom to easily process multiple types of transactions, without the hassle of extra equipment and software.
